While Back in Milbank . . . was a collaboration between Milbank High School students; art teacher Nancy Pauli; and guidance counselor, Heidi Wellnitz. This collaboration led to an interactive themed mural based off of a copicbook strip along with commentary balloons. Chalkboard paint was used on the inside of the commentary balloons allowing students to write, erase, and update topics related to school activities; campaigns against drug addiction; healthy eating; bullying in schools; student diversity and inclusion.
