The Sisseton Middle School mural is a patchwork of images reflecting the rich native and non-native cultural history of Sisseton; the unique environmental landscape of the Cocteau Valley; school and community pride; and lastly, a touch of modern art through the use of ben-day-dots which was popular during the Pop Art era of Modern Art.
