Mixed Media

I combine painting with photos, zines, and other materials to construct themes that celebrate a communities identity through art and architecture; cultural and social influences; or just the people themselves. This celebration is experienced through a visual theme of repetition reiterating elements of nostalgia and longing as well as patterning to show movement and excitement.
