The Enlightenment Mural was inspired by the science of fractals; the wonderment of the Fibonacci Sequence; and the mysteries of the human body. Students discovered that fractals and sequencing are both prevalent in nature as in the branches and leaves of plants; marine mollusk shells of all types; and in various parts of the human body! Students also researched the workings of the human brain; the left being more analytical and the right being more creative.
