Bookshelf Mural is a collection of books chosen by incarcerated youth who thought were not only inspirational reads but educational based on subjects related to: overcoming personal and social injustice, racism and oppression, restorative justice, power of positive thinking, struggles of survival, and environmental conservation and preservation. Incarcerated youth participated in the overall design, composition, and painting of each of the books.
