Peace Mural

PEACE Mural | 1996 | acrylic on stucco wall | 36’ x 36’ | Wilson Middle School | Albuquerque, New Mexico

Peace Mural was about the prevention of gang violence, anti-bullying practices, and to embrace  peace and harmony throughout the Albuquerque community. The white dove, along with the olive branch, represented peace, innocence, and love.

Thank you to Natural High, a nonprofit organization through the University of New Mexico. Natural High was an after school creative arts and sports program in partnership with Albuquerque Public Schools. Tracy’s role was to organize after school mural clubs in middle schools throughout Albuquerque.
